Equipment

Late-Model Straight Trucks

  • Fleet: 55 Freightliner and International straight trucks, 2022–2026 models.
  • Box body: Integrated (not detachable). Up to 9,000 lbs payload. 26,000 lbs GVWR.
  • Comfort: Heater and inverter installed. No APU — but you have heat and power.

Same as our semi division, we run only Freightliner and International — a service shop every 20 to 30 miles across America. No waiting days for exotic parts. Our breakdown rate is roughly one incident per week across the entire fleet, and most are resolved same-day. Truck goes home with you when possible.

Routes & Home Time

OTR Straight Truck Routes — Nationwide Coverage

Straight truck positions cover all 48 states. No California. Routes include local, shorter hauls, expedited loads, and dedicated lanes — depending on what dispatch finds and where you are.

Home time

Minimum 3 weeks out. Straight trucks are harder to route home than semis — fewer loads available for smaller vehicles. Many of our drivers stay out longer by choice because the miles are consistent.

Terminals / Parking

Chicago, IL and Columbia, MO.

What Drivers Say About Working at ProX

Alphonza says...
"I have always disliked working for companies where employees are treated impersonally. However, Pro Express is different. They maintain effective communication, clearly outline job expectations, utilize excellent equipment, and have a skilled team with efficient dispatch services. Glad to be part of the team."

Aaron says...
"Four months in and I'm already trying to get my cousin on as a team driver — that says it all. What's different here is the acceptance and support. The routine is simple: wake up, inspect, drive, sleep. But the people behind you make the difference."
Aaron Tietge
Driver at ProX
Thaddeus says...
"I came to ProX for better pay and a quality team — seven months later, both have held up. I'm running 3,000 to 3,500 miles a week and the team takes care of you. Dispatch tries to keep you happy and they put themselves in the driver's shoes. I'd recommend ProX — they care about their drivers as much as themselves."
Thaddeus Roy
Driver at ProX
Julian says...
"I chose ProX because of their clean safety record and a friend's recommendation — and three months in, I'm glad I did. The staff treats me like family, not just another driver, and dispatch keeps me moving with consistent loads. I'd definitely recommend ProX — they're reliable, responsive, and easy to talk to."
